Gym Games is coming up soon for all our Level 4-8 girls and boys.

Please note that we are looking for sponsors to get some of our gymnasts to Gym Games this year, as well as getting them the necessary clothing needed. Please contact Donna with regards to this if you are willing to contribute. Thank you in advance!
We have new names for all our groups:
Tiny tots -> Baby Giants
Beginners -> Little Giants
Pre levels -> Junior Giants
Level 1-8 -> Giants
We have two competitions coming up:
On the 14th September 2024, we will have our club competition for all Junior Giants (Pre level) gymnasts. Information will go out via email regarding times for each gymnast. This will take place at our Giants Gymnastics venue. Please come and support your little ones. We can’t wait to see you all there.
On the 5th October 2024, we will have our Fun Gym competition for all our Little Giants (Beginners). More information about the times and place will be sent out via email as well. Please keep an eye out for this.
We have clothing (new and second hand) available in the foyer this week from 13:30-16:30. If your child needs any t-shirts, leotards, tracksuits etc, please come in and fit. There will be a Yoco machine available for payments.
Level 1-3 testing:
All level 1-3 gymnasts will be tested on a few skills needed for next year. This will be done during their class time slot, so please make sure that your child is at gymnastics the week of the 16th-20th September. Parents are not required to be here, it is an informal testing for us to see what they can do and what needs to be worked on.
Term 3 end date:
Term 3 will end for all Baby, Little and Junior Giants on the 13th September 2024. Level 1-8 will continue to train until the end of Term 3.
Term 4:
1st October- 6th December 2024
Year end display:
7th December 2024
All the best to coach Peter who has taken up a position at Eversdal gymnastics club where he will be running their tumbling and trampoline disciplines. We will miss him but wish him all the best. He will always have a spot at Giants in the future. Good luck and we will miss you!
The Blouberg 5km Fun Run
On the 25th of August we had some coaches and gymnasts marshal at the Blouberg 5km fun run which took place at Eden on the Bay. Was SO much fun!
It was extremely cold and early, so thank you to everyone who made it.
Hopefully next time we can see more of our Giants family there!
A huge well done to our Level 1, 2, 4 and 6 MAG gymnasts who competed at WC Champs over the weekend of the 16th and 17th of August. We are so proud of you all.

9 apparatus medals, 1 overall placing, a few falls, some tears but they did it and we are so proud of all of you! Shout out to Mia Pienaar for her overall placings, awesome stuff.
